The 3-stage Dryer Buddy® Plus AUTO is a fully automatic 3-way switcher, It allows you to share your dryer outlet with TWO EVSE's without having to flip any switches. Basic operation is simple, the Dryer outlet is always live and the EVSE outlets are only live when there is enough amperage available to charge an EV. The Dryer outlet has the highest priority, then the EV outlet on the face followed by the side outlet with the lowest priority. each EVB outlet has a blue LED power indicator. When the Dryer is off it is drawing little to no amps so the EVSE outlet #1 is switched on allowing your EV to charge, if there is no load then EVSE outlet #2 is switched on as well. If the Dryer is turned on at any time then both EVSE outlets are switched off, when the Dryer is done, power is restored to the EVSE outlets and if your EV #1 needs charging it will resume charging, if EV #2 needs charging it will resume until/unless EV#1 needs charging. Designed so other members of the house don't have to understand anything technical to use the Dryer when they need to do a load of laundry. Great for apartment dwellers, temp housing or an easy hookup at a friend’s/relatives house. This unit is built with a 5’ cable and two outlets.
