BSA Electronics products are covered by Limited Warranty which applies to Dryer Buddys, EVSEs, adapters and other custom built products that are manufactured by BSA Electronics.
I offer a 3 year Parts/Labor warranty on my custom built EVSE’s and adapters I sell except where otherwise noted in the product description. Duosida (Dostar) and Zencar brand products are warrantied through the manufacture Duosida and Zencar respectively for 1 year.
I want you to be happy with your custom products you purchased from BSA Electronics. I am an Electrical Engineer and work hard on each one to build a reliable and lasting product for you my supporters. If for any reason you are having issues please email me at 
I will work with you to determine if the product needs to be sent back for repair.
What is covered
Defects in materials and construction are covered.
What is not covered
Issues related to normal use, abuse, neglect, misuse, submersion in water, aesthetic issues, for example submerging the unit in a puddle, dropping the unit or plug resulting in a crack. Damage to electronic components, modules and/or protection devices due to abuse, disturbances/malfunction of an electrical system including but not limited to surges, brownouts, spikes, lightning and interference is not covered under Warranty. Customer upgrading firmware themselves resulting in a non functional unit is not covered under Warranty. Please note, you are responsible for all labor costs associated with removing, reinstalling and returning the product to BSA Electronics, including the cost of shipping the product to BSA Electronics.
All other express and implied warranties for this product including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. If this product is not as warranted above, your sole and exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement as provided above. In no event will BSA Electronics, any of its authorized sales and service representatives, or its parent company be liable to customer or any third party for any damages in excess of the purchase price of the product. This limitation applies to damages of any kind including any direct or indirect damages, lost profits, lost saving or other special, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages whether for breach of contract, tort or otherwise or whether arising out of the use of or inability to use the product, even if  BSA Electronics or an authorized BSA Electronics representative or dealer has been advised of the possibility of such damages or of any claim by any other party. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages for some products, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
The warranty does not apply to the following;
(A) Modifying your finished product for the sake of hardwiring. (B) Replacing any cables, i.e. the power input cable, the J1772 cable or any other component of the finished product. We sell specific products and Upgrade Pak's for hardwiring, please consider purchasing these products designed to be hardwired. (C) Any product sold and marked "As Is" or any product sold and marked with faults. I offer a Limited Warranty on my products as outlined above but unfortunately cannot warranty someone else's work, parts or project.

Out of warranty repair
Because I custom build these EVSE’s and adapters myself I can offer out of warranty repairs and upgrades! Just like my product prices my bench time is very inexpensive too! I can replace any damaged parts and make an EVSE or adapter work well again. The exception is EVSE's such as the Duosida EVSE D25-16A and Zencar which are not OpenEVSE controller based.
Refused & Undeliverable packages: Important, please Read Carefully!
Refused and undeliverable packages cost businesses money, we pay an extra fee for every order for an Address Validator program that helps ensures that you have an accurate shipping address.  If a package is refused for any reason or undeliverable for any reason it falls under the rules of Cancelled Orders below.
Returns: Important, please Read Carefully!
Due to the custom nature of the products I sell, no returns are offered, all sales are final. These are custom hand crafted products, We take item to provide a detailed description of each product on it's page, please read these descriptions fully and please ask any questions you may have before committing to a purchase. I thoroughly test each EVSE and product after its construction to ensure a reliable product. Defective products may be shipped back and will be repaired under the 3 year parts/labor guarantee. Defective Duosida/Dostar products may be shipped back and will be sent back to the manufacture under their 1 year parts/labor guarantee after a bench test to confirm the problem. If an exception is made for a return it falls under the rules of Canceled Orders below and MUST be received within 30 days of the original delivery date of the product, in addition to this Items must be in new and UNUSED condition, any signs of use/wear will be assessed a fee for reconditioning to new condition. Any missing parts or accessories will be assessed a fee. Any damage from shipping is the customers responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company they used to sent the product back. Returns require an exception me made for extenuating circumstances, this requires communication with us and authorization via email from us to receive an RMA number. Products received back without an RMA number indicate the buyers full acceptance of all terms and fees outlined in Canceled Orders below.  Shipping is not refundable after the order is shipped. Cancel orders: Important, please Read Carefully!
Due to the custom nature of the products I sell, a 24 hour cancellation window is offered. You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it via email, after that any special request for a cancellation is assessed a cancellation/restocking fee of 25%, These are custom hand crafted products, please ask any questions you may have before committing to a purchase. 3.99% of all refunds (4.99% for Canadian refunds) will be deducted to cover the Transaction Fee that PayPal and Shopify (all credit cards) permanently keep as soon as the purchase is made. The 3.99-4.99% fee is replaced after 24 hour with a 25% cancellation/restocking fee, it is not in addition to the 25% fee, we never see 3.99% (4.99% for Canadian orders) of it as that is the transaction fee PERMANENTLY kept by PayPal or Shopify for credit/debit cards. PayPal and Shopify don't offer a grace period or cancellation window for this. This was a difficult decision to make but after PayPal in Oct of 2019 and Shopify (all credit/debit cards) in March of 2020 both stopped refunding their transaction fees of approx 3.99% (4.99% for Canadian orders), we endured nearly a year of eating substantial fees, this is not a economically sustainable practice for a small business.
A Transaction Fee or Merchant Processing Fee is an industry standard fee that has been around for decades, when you pay with your credit card or debit without PIN number, the bank charges a fee for this convenience and the store owner/seller loses about approx 3.99% (4.99% for Canadian orders) of the sale as it goes to the bank. Historically the industry standard was if the transaction was canceled/refunded this fee was reversed but now PayPal and Shopify now CHARGE sellers for refunds! For example if you cancel an order for a Dryer Buddy Plus AUTO of approx $386, $15.40-$19.26 is permanently kept by PayPal/Shopify, we DO NOT receive that back if your order is refunded. In the past this fee was refunded to us if a refund/adjustment to an order was made. Due to customers changing their mind and fraud orders any special request for a cancellation/return/refund is assessed a cancellation/restocking fee of 25% after the 24 window described above, we never see 3.99% (4.99% for Canadian orders) of it as that is the transaction fee PERMANENTLY kept by PayPal or Shopify for credit/debit cards.
In summary due to PayPal’s change in fee policies starting Oct 31st 2019 and now Shopify (all credit cards) in March of 2020 they will no longer return processing fees (currently approx 3.99%, 4.99% for Canadian orders) to sellers when we refund a customer.  What this means for us is that 3.99%-4.99% of your PayPal or credit card payment to BSA is permanently kept by PayPal/Shopify and is never available to refund you, there isn’t a grace period or cancellation window for this. If Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay chooses to withhold their fees as well on refunds then our same policy will apply to refunds made to those.  As eCommerce Sellers we as a group are upset by this and will fight to overturn this in the future hopefully.
Shipping is not refundable after the order is shipped.
Adjustment to orders
If any adjustment is made to an order resulting in a refund to your PayPal account or credit card 3.99% (4.99% for Canadian orders) will be removed to cover the permanent transaction fee that PayPal and Shopify (all credit cards) has charged BSA Electronics, please see Canceled Orders above for details. If you are requesting to change between products of the same value within a reasonable time before its scheduled shipping date it is handled as a one-for-one order edit, no refund is necessary and there no refund fee. For example switching from a Dryer Buddy Plus AUTO #4 to a Dryer Buddy Plus AUTO #1. Depending upon the situation a change-order fee may be agreed upon by you and BSA Electronics for adjustments to an order but this is not related to the card fees above.
International Shipments
Please note that any customs duties, import duties, fees and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, and are not included in the cost of shipping. Please contact your country's Customs agency to determine any duty/fees/taxes they may add before importing an item into your country from the USA. If you have a preference as to the shipping carrier, please email us before placing your order or immediately after placing it with your special request so we may quote you any difference in cost.
BSA Electronics is a USA based company, It isn't possible to know the rules/codes of all cities of every foreign country. It is the buyer's responsibility to check with their country/local code as to electrical product restrictions (if any) before purchasing and importing a product from BSA Electronics to a foreign country. You will want to look into this before purchasing and committing. BSA Electronics is not responsible for these additional costs and returns are not accepted if it is determined you cannot use a product due to country/local code restrictions.
Sales Tax
BSA Electronics charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site for NV state shipping locations. The sales tax rate is based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.
