Free upgrade to Metal 14-50 outlet box with stainless steel cover and outdoor rated black nylon cable grip!

This adapter is now built with a heavy duty metal outdoor box instead of the yellow female outlet shown. This new metal outlet box is modular with a replaceable NEMA 14-50 outlet and an outdoor rated black nylon cable grip to seal around the cable, all topped off with a beautiful stainless steel cover! An optional hefty aluminum cable grip is offered as an upgrade. 

Built with the same pre-molded plug/cable I use on my EVSE’s. Allows you to plug your EVSE with 14-50 plug into NEMA 14-30, 14-50, 14-60 outlets, The OpenEVSE and our cars don’t require the neutral line so this adapter works slick by eliminating the neutral blade we can plug into several 14-series NEMA outlets. Build with 6ga. super heavy cable for a 50amp rating. Available in shorter lengths for easy transporting in your EV.

Be sure to set your Electric Vehicle or EV Charging Station (EVSE) to 24amps or less when using this Adapter (max draw for 30amp Dryer Circuit).
