Free upgrade to Metal 14-50 outlet box with stainless steel cover and outdoor rated black nylon cable grip!

This adapter is now built with a heavy duty metal outdoor box instead of the yellow female outlet shown. This new metal outlet box is modular with a replaceable NEMA 14-50 outlet and an outdoor rated black nylon cable grip to seal around the cable, all topped off with a beautiful stainless steel cover! An optional hefty aluminum cable grip is offered as an upgrade. 

Lets you plug your 120/240v EVSE into a standard outlet. Features a NEMA 5-15 right angle plug, constructed using my Super Flex black rubber cord (no longer yellow cable) and a NEMA 14-50 outlet.

Version 2 has a 90 degree heavy duty plug for strain relief allowing the adapter to hang straight down (ground DOWN as shown) for tight places and to prevent the weight of the cable from tipping the plug down away from the outlet. Will plug into 15 amp and 20 amp outlets.

Note: This is for EVSE’s (Electric Vehicle Charging Stations) NOT RV, and a RV adapter won't work because the pin-out is different for a RV's different purpose.
