This Adapter/Extension cord is designed to connect your portable Gas Generator or Portable Power Station to your home's NEMA SS2-50 / CS6364 generator inlet. It may also be used with portable Generators equipped with a NON-GFCI NEMA 14-50 (240volt 50amp) outlet such as Westinghouse's model WGen11500TFc. It is acceptable if the others outlets have a GFCI as they don't affect the NEMA 14-50 but the 14-50 must be NON-GFCI. If your portable Gas Generator or Portable Power Station has a GFCI protected 14-50 outlet contact us for a special cable that is compatible as we also build those. This cable is built with my Super Flex rubber cable in your choice of 50amp 6 gauge cable or 60amp 4 gauge cable. At longer lengths voltage drop can be an issue so we are now offering Heavy Duty custom extension cords built with one size heavier cable to minimize voltage drop. This is most beneficial to loads with a high startup draw like air conditioners and other high-inductive loads. This is still meant to be used as a 50amp cable for 40amp continuous or lower load following the NEC's 80% rule of thumb. Quality construction! I custom build these cables here in the USA, constructed using my super flexible black rubber cord with quality name brand connectors on the ends, not cheap ones with PVC jacketed wire. This cable also has full sized Neutral and Ground wire, not one size smaller like mass produced cords. This cords pass all 4 conductors straight through like a traditional extension cord.

The outlet is a NEMA SS2-50R / CS6364 Twist-Lock with your choice of a yellow weather boot featuring a black threaded ring to screw onto generator inlets that support it for better weather resistance. The NEMA SS2-50R / CS6364 Twist-Lock outlet's center pin is removable if your SS2-50P / CS6365 plug doesn't have the hole in the center to accept it.
